Fleissner at ANEX and SINCE again with new machinery innovations

Aside from the sale of yet another two spunlace machines to China, Fleissner had been presenting the following new innovations at ANEX and SINCE show:

1. Fleissner MiniJet
After successful implementation of the Fleissner AquaJet for high speed or heavy web applications and Fleissner LeanJet for "one card", lightweight applications, now the MiniJet is available for all types of niche products with (still) limited market demand. It is also an excellent machine for laboratory or product development purposes. Its main features are economical investment price and container- built design for fast and easy erection and commissioning.

2. New concepts of Fleissner and Trützschler
for the production of hydro-entangled cotton nonwovens

a) Cotton pad lines for medium market demand

The utilization of Fleissner MiniJet together with 3 to 5 Trützschler TC-07-H cards with specially designed shoving unit to produce heavy webs at excellent MD: CD ratio presents an excellent solution for the manufacturing of hydro- entangled cotton pads between 150- 250 gsm. The working width is 1 m at line speeds between 20- 40 m/min. This concept is most economical for local demands of up to 450 kg/h.

b) Cotton wipes production

The utilization of Fleissner LeanJet or AquaJet together with the new ErkoTrützschler EWK 413 random card will provide cotton wipe products of excellent quality at throughputs of more than 300 kg/h/m to the market. Both, product quality and speed boost demand for cotton wipes in Europe quite intensely with the first two joint orders underway.

3. Fleissner Flat Belt Oven
In order to satisfy the increasing demands of technical textiles with its high loft products, Fleissner is now also manufacturing double belt flat belt ovens for thermobonding processes. Due to many decades experience with the process and the supply of famous Fleissner drum dryers, development time was less than one year and was concluded with a first order placed by the TWE- group, who is today producing nonwovens in Hangzhou, China, for one of their sites in Germany. Working width is more than 4 m and the length more than 14 m at maximum production speeds up to 40 m/min. The oven was delivered in record time of only four months. The final products of up to 2.000 gsm are mainly targeting the filtration industry. The new machine is built featuring a design with lowest energy losses, easy maintenance and infinite working width adjustment. With small modifications, the oven can be used for thermobonding of materials that have only poor air permeability. Heatsetting and drying options are also available upon special request. Together with the perforated drum technology, Fleissner covers now all applications for the thermobonding of nonwovens.
