Fleissner AquaJet Sales

Fleissner has sold 4 AquaJet Spunlace systems:

Fleissner contracted a 3.6 m, 12,000 to/a Spunlace line for carded wipes products to the USA. The line is expected to start up end of 2006.

Another line with a capacity of 5,000 to/a intended mainly for wipes and medical/sanitary applications has been sold to the Middle East. This installation is already close to start-up.

The third line is going to be installed in China for New Tsongtsien. The new "LeanJet" will have a working width of 2,500 mm, a production capacity of approx 5,000 to/a and is intended for plain and apertured webs for wipes, hygienic and hospital use.

A new line with a working width of 4,500 mm has been ordered for a new generation of nonwoven products. A heavy-duty AquaJet Spunlace line and a high-capacity Fleissner TAD through-air drum dryer will be used to produce a new technology spunlace web. This machine will be installed in Europe.

The decisions for more AquaJet Spunlace lines for composites are expected this year. They are intended for producing composite wipes made from carded-airlaid layers (CPC = carded-pulp-carded) or spunbond-airlaid layers (SPS= spunbond-pulp-spunbond) used mainly as 3-layer composites for wipes (wet wipes, industrial wipes, household wipes), medical, sanitary, cosmetic and hospital use because of the big advantages of lower production costs and improved performance.
