Fleissner GmbH and Neumag, a Saurer business unit, have signed a cooperation agreement in March 2006 for select technologies in the field of nonwovens. Neumag and Fleissner, as a result of this cooperation, are the first on the market to offer complete solutions for all major nonwovens production processes. In the future, Neumag can rely on Fleissner AquaJet technology in their processing lines for the strategically important market segment of spunlaced nonwovens. The Neumag scope of supply thus includes a forward-looking technology that provides access to further new applications and markets. Fleissner, being one of the leading suppliers of highly specialized systems for the nonwovens industry, at the same time extends its own product program by the M&J Airlaid technology of Neumag. Fleissner and Neumag will also cooperate in the field of technological development using the synergy effect. For presentation to customers, the new Neumag Carding Center in Linz/Austria shall be equipped with the LeanJet spunlace system and a card optimized for this process. For further information
